Exceptional urgent care and surgery experience
If I could leave more than 5 stars for Winter Haven’s Central Fl Foot and Ankle Center, I would. I was visiting family and unexpectedly needed medical attention with one of my toes. A family member recommended I reach out to Dr. Maria T Jaramillo. She was able to get me in quickly and provide the immediate attention I needed. Her team runs like a well oiled machine. I have described the experience as an orchestrated dance. Each care professional stepped in when their expertise was needed. It wasn’t long before my surgery was complete and I was armed with all the follow up care items I needed to recover successfully. I highly recommend this team if you need medical care for this part of your body.

Knowledgeable care with treatments that work
This place is amazing. The staff members are friendly, Dr. Wellens is super knowledgeable and personable and the treatments that I went through really helped my foot. I just wish that Medicare covered more of the treatments.

Plantar fasciitis and heel pain nearly gone
Windy and Dr. Wellens have been amazing. I limped into the clinic and now my pain (plantar fasciitis and heel spurs) is almost gone after treatment and following instructions. They're kind and friendly, and I never feel rushed. Thank you so much!

Surgery that gave me my life back
Dr. Wellens and Crystal quite literally gave me my life back. Before surgery, I could hardly walk — every step was agony, every day felt smaller than the last. I thought I’d never stand tall again.
