Heel pain is a common foot condition often caused by overuse or increased strain on the foot. One of the most frequent causes is plantar fasciitis, which can develop when you suddenly increase the intensity or duration of physical activity or switch to more challenging surfaces. While plantar fasciitis is a leading cause, heel pain can also result from other underlying issues. If the discomfort persists for several months or does not improve with at-home care, a professional diagnosis may be necessary to identify the exact cause and determine the most effective treatment.
Experienced podiatrists focused on delivering clear answers and effective treatment.
